  DEEP REFLECTION ON THE WORDS: 'CROSS' AND 'CROWN' Have you taken a close look at these two words' Cross' and ' Crown '? they both depend on each other. By then, cross symbolises suffering, torment,and pain. On the other hand, crown symbolises victory, joy,happiness,prosperity. These two words come on our journey as we follow Christ. Jesus our model of faith has plainly benefited from them. Jesus carries his cross with pain and torment, suffered, was beaten and maltreated and finally was put to death. This cross of suffering and pain resulted in the crown he received from his father. He was crowned the king of the world and has become the  role model of all Christians. No pain No gain. To follow Christ is to carry the cross with perseverance. The cross is the means but not the end to receive a crown. It becomes the end when we do not carry the cross wholeheartedly. Making the cross your crown

Deep reflection on cross and crown  Cross and crown have the same words. Cross symbolises suffering and crown symbolises victory. No pain no gain. Our daily struggle and perseverance in prayer can easily change our cross to crown. Jesus carries his cross and at he end he was crown as the king of the universe. What meaning can you give to the cross? Is it just a cross as you see it or it is a means for you to receive a crown? Reflect upon it.

Despite his self sacrifice, he always call us to come to him. He has won the race for us and the victory is ours. We are therefore called to toe his footsteps making disciples for his kingdom. May he be with us always.
